Our community group or parenting class consists of parents whose kids range in age from newborns to high schoolers with many in the first few years of elementary school.  We meet each week for Sunday School from 9:30-10:30 to discuss biblical-based approaches to parenting and how parenting is an opportunity for us to grow closer to God.  Our approach includes a mix of prayer requests, bible study, story sharing, and discussion of God's purpose in our lives.  We are focused on fellowship to help provide support for each other as we encounter the trials and tribulations of parenting.  This leads to a variety of other get-togethers during the week, including shared meals, play dates, and group exercise.  While parenting is the thread that ties the group together; The reading and discussion of scripture often leads to self reflection and the desire to grow closer to God on a personal level. Some of our members grew up at First Baptist Hamilton while others have just started attending recently, so new members are welcome! We meet downstairs in room 113 on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30.
