Fees
All day camps in 2021 are free. But when there are week-long camps, Matthew 25: Ministries and First Baptist Church of Hamilton want to make sure every child is financially supported and able to attend Kirkwood for camp. They will hear the Word of God and experience Jesus, some for the first time! Those who have been in the past know it is an extremely spiritual camp experience and look forward to returning each summer. The costs of camp may be offset through scholarships. If you are in need of assistance to pay for the camp, please talk to FBCH's director of family ministries, Katie Simpson, or email us at info@firstbaptisthamilton.org. We'll get you set up to receive assistance and apply for scholarships. M25M also offers scholarships.

Counselors
The five ABC Ohio Christian camps for youth at Kirkwood that are up to a week long are staffed with counselors who are vetted by Matthew 25 and the camp's staff, as well as the camp directors. Counselors are background-checked and recommended by pastors before volunteering with your children at Camp Kirkwood. There is an application process. If you would like to counsel at a camp, please email Kirkwood's director, Pam Leonard, at director@campkirkwood.net. Many counselors are needed all summer and they stay in the cabins with campers, acting as guardians, having group and one-on-one conversations about Christ and about their daily lives, leading small groups, outdoor activities and more. All camps also seek health safety officers which oversee medications or medical needs during each week of camp.
