College Meet Up — April 15th — 12pm to 1:30pm
If you are a college student, either local or far away, or 19 to 25 years old, we would love to meet with you after church at True West on April 15th! The purpose of this gathering is to spend some time together with peers, as well as start a dialogue about what a college ministry could look like in the future. We want to hear from you personally about how we can better serve you, as well as seek to help you stay connected to community during your time in college.
So if you are in town and able to come hang with us, shoot Pastor Justin an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to let him know you are planning to attend. We’ll even buy you coffee! Hope to see you there!
VolunTOUR — April 15th — 10:30am to 11:30am — Meet in Library
VolunTOUR is a great starting point for becoming a part of a Sunday morning service team at First Baptist. Through VolunTOUR, you will get to hear about what serving is all about around FBCH. Each team on Sunday mornings plays a significant part in working together to accomplish the mission and vision of our church. We desire that every follower of Christ be gathering, growing and serving; so if you are looking for a place to serve, this is a great opportunity to find a good fit for you!
During this one hour class, you’ll get a tour of FBCH and a chance to see several teams in action. You will also get to hear the heart behind why serving is so crucial for God’s mission and how each team at FBCH plays a role in accomplishing the mission Jesus set us on as a church. By the end of our time together, we hope to connect you to a team that fits your giftedness and availability!
Group Connect — April 8th (after church from) 12pm to 12:30pm
Group Connect is just how it sounds! Come to Group Connect to get connected to an existing group at First Baptist or possibly plan to plant an entirely new group together! Living life alone wasn’t an option for Jesus and so we too seek to connect everyone to a small group of people for spiritual growth on their journey of following Christ together. Groups are the best way to connect to God’s family at FBCH.
For just thirty minutes after church we will gather to share about group life at FBCH, as well as plan next steps for getting you plugged into an existing group or starting a new group. If you desire to grow in your relationship with Christ and others, let’s get you plugged in!

Have you been considering church membership? Maybe you've just started coming or maybe you've been a regular attender at First Baptist for quite some time. Either way, we want to invite you to Belonging!
Over the month of April, we are going to be hosting a membership class on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in Room 209.
Here's what to expect: We will be meeting for only an hour each Sunday during April. We will get to share a little about who we are as a church and then hear from you about your questions on membership. It'll be a great time.
If you are unable to attend each session, that's okay! Although we encourage you to be at as many as you can, we only require you to attend our last session (on April 29th) to become a member. If you are unable to attend that session, but still want to become a member, just let Pastor Justin know and we can make other preparations.
Our desire as a church is to help you connect to the body of Christ, and the heart behind Belonging is to help you feel like a beloved member of the family of God.
Meeting Dates: April 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
