VBS 2011: Inside Out & Upside Down On Main Street
July 11th - 15th, 9:00am - 12:15pm

On Main Street, kids will be drawn into stories Jesus told about everyday people in everyday situations. But His stories were anything but ordinary! Jesus turned lives upside down and hearts inside out through parables that challenged people to look at themselves and others in new and unexpected ways. So come join us on Main Street for an inside-out, upside-down experience like no other…and let Jesus make a difference in YOU!

Heidi Claire
Meet the lovely Heidi Claire, super-sleuth extraordinaire! She's in town to investigate some strange events on Main Street, looking high and low for clues to explain the unusual inside-out, upside-down attitudes and behavior she encounters. She's sharp as a tack-but on the wrong track. Slowly but surely, Heidi learns that Main Street is special, not because of some mysterious "secret" but because of Jesus and the difference He makes in the hearts and lives of people every day!

Chef Pierre Mon Frére
With a heart even bigger than his mustache, Chef Pierre is near and dear to the hearts of everyone on Main Street. His job at the Brown Bag Bistro keeps him busy baking and delivering tasty treats to all his friends and neighbors. "Mon frére" means "my brother" in French, and that's exactly how Chef Pierre treats everyone-like family.

Justin Time
As the local bus driver, Justin Time knows the ins and outs of Main Street better than anyone. He loves his town and the people in it-even though things might seem a little “backwards” most of the time. You can always count on Justin to go out of his way to lend a hand and make someone's day-“right on course and just in time!”

VBS closing program is on Friday, July 15th, at 11:30 a.m. The kids will be sharing things they have learned throughout the week and how they have learned to be a hero to others, and most importantly to Jesus! The program will be followed by a light lunch. We hope to see you there.
