We have all the things lined up for a great summer on Tuesdays. There are a few changes for this year, so please read your schedule carefully. Due to the large number of kids registered last summer, we will need to have kids signed up as much as possible to make sure we have enough transportation. We have several adults that volunteer their time and vehicles for our excursions and we want to welcome them and thank them in advance for this year. The car seat laws have changed so much that if you have a child that requires one, you need to see Cheryl or Claire. Remember the age for Totally Terrific Tuesdays is completed kindergarten through completed 5th grade. Younger children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Summer 2011 Schedule

TTT shirts mentioned below are the Totally Terrific Tuesday shirts, which identify members of our group. This year our shirts are lime green again. Cost will be $3 each if you need a new shirt.

• June 14: Innie–Making Shirts/Water Slides - You can make a shirt if you need one (lime green) or buy one to decorate. You will need to bring a swimsuit and towel for the water slides. Bring a sack lunch 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• June 21: Innie–Pottery/"Make It and Take It" Day at church; make lots of fun things to take home, as well as a pottery piece to take home later; wear old clothes as we will be getting messy! $12 covers pottery, lunch/dessert, and crafts. Creativity begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p m.
• June 28: Outie–See the movie “CARS 2" at the Kerasotes Theater. Bring a sack lunch and we will eat before we go to the afternoon matinee. Cost for movie is $4. (We won't be buying snacks) Wear your TTT shirts and bring a sack lunch. 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Check for an adjusted time.
• 4th July Parade: We will be participating in the parade this year.

• July 5: No TTT this week.
• July 12: No TTT this week, as it is VBS WEEK! Come join us Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Register at www.firstbaptisthamilton.org.
• July 21: Outie–Bowling/Games - Bowling at Fairfield Lanes followed by lunch and games at Fort Liberty Park. Cost is $2.00 for each game (shoe rental included). Wear your TTT shirts and bring a sack lunch. Meet at 9:30 a.m. to leave at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. pick up time.
• July 26: Outie–Miami University Recreation Center in Oxford for swimming. $5/person for over 4 hours of fun! Wear your TTT shirt, bring a sack lunch, modest swim suit, shower necessities (if you want to take one), and a plastic bag to put wet suits in; lockers are there for storage. Meet at church at 9:30 a.m. Pickup at church at 2:30 p.m.
• August 2: Outie–Run, Jump and Play $8.00 for inflatables. Wear your TTT shirts and bring a sack lunch. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. YOU MUST HAVE SOCKS!!!
• August 9: Outie–Newport Aquarium. Cost is $11.00 for ages 2 - 12 and $16 for adults. Meet at church at 9:00 a.m. We will leave promptly at 9:30 a.m. and return about 3:00 p.m. Wear your TTT shirts and bring a sack lunch. Sign up is necessary by July 10th to reserve group rate.

Important Information

Participating kids MUST have an individual permission slip on file for this year. One slip will cover the entire summer. Kids from the same family cannot be on the same form. Forms can be filled out the morning of the event. Please allow extra time to do so. Please try to RSVP before the event so we can coordinate chaperones and transportation. Due to new laws if you child requires a booster seat you will need to provide one. If transportation assistance is needed, let us know. Be sure to check out the church website for any updates. :)
